I loved this property - charming hotel.

The place was clean and staff was exceptional and exceptionally pleasant. The room was immaculately clean and huge with 2 king beds, I stayed here for 1 night. The location in a shopping area was marvellous and there were a market and shops nearby.

Very attentive staff, wake up service and ironing free of charge...

The units here are spacious and have a jacuzzi, while the services are excellent, highlighted by a very clean pool.

That hotel had no elevator, that is it!! Everything else was great!!

The hospitality of the staff and the location of the hotel its walking distance from the malecon. Everything is pretty much walking distance from there. Except the beach!

I stayed in a perfect, large room with a luxury bathroom and balcony. the personnel was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. - the location was excellent, at a moderate distance from a modest museum.

Best Western El Cid is a safe bet for a tourist who is unfamiliar with Ensenada. They have a US website where you can get a confirmed reservation. Cleaner than most Baja hotels. Secured parking. Desk staff is biligual. Bellman is courteous. They are in walking distance of the bay, shopping, restaurants and bars.

Price a little higher than other hotels in the area. Rooms on the front side of the hotel offer a view of the tourist street but can be noisy with party people.

The place is beautiful and conveniently located, has parking, but not if you arrive late. The staff was attentive and they came every time we reported something not worth it.

The water in the tub didn't drain, so we had to do it manually after showering. The AC stop working suddenly and the weather was very hot. There is lots of noise from all the clubs. And for the price we paid I think the condition of this hotel is poor. I was expecting better. And they didn't even offer a discount for all the things that didn't work.

Windows from the hallway allow too much light into the room. The window type air conditioner rattled all night. I found the carpeting disgusting and the bathroom not to my cleanliness standards. I booked for 1 night. Upon checkout the clerk said it was for 2. Fortunately, I had my reservation form with me so it became a non-issue.
